At Velocity Vision, our mission is to deliver impactful, seamlessly executed professional medical events that not only educate but inspire. In the first quarter of 2025, we were privileged to organise and support three standout events in the South African healthcare calendar: 2025 Viatris Master Class, 2025 SASA Eastern Cape Annual Collaboration, and the 2025 CCSSA Egoli Symposium. Each brought together leading experts, dynamic discussions, and forward-thinking delegates. Here’s a look back at these exceptional gatherings.

We kicked off the year in style beneath the Sandton skyline at Capital on the Park, where the 2025 Viatris Master Class delivered a dynamic, multidisciplinary programme. Four parallel tracks—expertly chaired by Dr Thulja Trikamjee, Dr Marlin McKay, Prof Sean Chetty, and Prof Kalaivani Naidu—covered a spectrum of emerging treatment strategies, from decoding menopause to advancing multimodal pain management, underscoring the importance of continued medical education.

The multi-track format gave delegates the freedom to tailor their in-person experience fostering deeper engagement and meaningful cross-disciplinary insights throughout the day.

Date: 15 March 2025
Venue: Boardwalk Hotel & Conference Centre, Gqeberha
Eastern Cape’s premier anaesthetic event brought together multidisciplinary teams to explore the evolving landscape of anaesthetic practice. Date: 12 April 2025
Venue: WITS School of Public Health, Parktown, Johannesburg
The Critical Care Society of Southern Africa – Egoli Branch hosted a vital day of knowledge-sharing aimed at improving ICU care outcomes. Chaired by Shahed Omar, the event included both plenary lectures and hands-on workshops.
Programme Highlights:
The off-site simulation centre workshop brought immersive training into the spotlight, making this one of the most interactive CCSSA regional events to date.

These events would not be possible without the hard work of dedicated local committees, respected speakers, and clinical experts who generously shared their time and knowledge. We also extend our sincere gratitude to exhibitors and sponsors who help bring these educational events to life.
From Gqeberha to Johannesburg, these 2025 events reflect the vibrant, committed, and forward-thinking medical community we serve. At Velocity Vision, we’re proud to be the link between clinical excellence and event experience. We look forward to supporting many more conversations that drive healthcare forward.
